15th Topical Workshop on Heterostructure Microelectronics (TWHM 2024)

This biannual workshop is being held in Japan since 1994 and provides an excellent forum for the professional exchange between researchers and industrial users in the field of heterostructure microelectronics.

The TWHM covers various aspects of electron devices based on semiconductor heterostructures – among others material characterization, process technology, device physics, circuit design, and system applications.

The workshop consists of about 10 technical sessions with invited and contributed papers on latest topics, including:

  • Wide bandgap MOS/MIS FET technologies
  • GaN-related devices and their technologies and perspectives
  • THz and mm-wave device technologies, fabrications, and applications
  • InP-related devices

The abstract submission deadline has been extended to May 18, 2024.

The workshop co-chairs are Michihiko Suhara (Tokyo Metropolitan University), Elke Meißner (Fraunhofer IISB), and David Meyer (Naval Research Laboratory).
